ISLAMABAD, June 18 — According to unverified reports circulating in regional media, Pakistan has played a mediating role in facilitating what is being described as the signing of the “Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)” between the United States and Iran, in a development that could mark a notable diplomatic step toward easing long-standing tensions in the Middle East.

The agreement is reported to have been concluded through digital signatures, with Pakistan acting as a key intermediary in backchannel diplomacy between Washington and Tehran.
