Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Ishaq Dar, received a telephone call today from the United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres.

The Secretary-General appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in organizing the Islamabad talks and commended the efforts of the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister in promoting regional peace. He also expressed the United Nations’ full support for Pakistan’s continued efforts in this regard.

The Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting dialogue and diplomacy for peace and stability.
