Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif concluded a three-nation diplomatic tour of Türkiye, Qatar and Saudi Arabia from April 15 to 18, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties and discussing regional peace and economic cooperation.
During his visit to Türkiye, the Prime Minister participated in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where global leaders and policymakers gathered to discuss international challenges, diplomacy, and cooperation. On the sidelines of the forum, he held key meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, reviewing trade, defense cooperation, and regional connectivity.
In Qatar, Sharif met Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, where discussions focused on energy cooperation, investment opportunities, and strengthening economic relations between the two countries.
In Saudi Arabia, he held talks with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, with emphasis on expanding economic cooperation, particularly in energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors.
According to officials, the visit also included multiple sideline meetings with world leaders at international forums, highlighting Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach and efforts to promote regional stability and attract foreign investment.
The tour is being seen as part of Islamabad’s broader strategy to deepen relations with key regional partners and strengthen its role in global diplomacy.
