Pakistan Army Vows Relentless Crackdown on Terror Proxies

Rawalpindi, April 7: Pakistan’s top military leadership on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to eliminate all terrorist proxies “without exception” as the 274th Corps Commanders’ Conference, chaired by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at GHQ, reviewed the country’s security landscape.
The forum paid tribute to fallen soldiers, law enforcement personnel, and civilians, calling their sacrifices the foundation of national security. It also praised the armed forces for their professionalism and ongoing intelligence-based counterterrorism operations.
Expressing satisfaction over operational performance, the Chief of Army Staff highlighted that coordination between the government, military, and public continues to strengthen Pakistan’s security and economic stability.
The conference strongly rejected what it termed “baseless allegations and disinformation” attributed to India, while voicing concern over alleged human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Military leadership reiterated that Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq will continue until militant safe havens are dismantled and the use of Afghan soil against Pakistan is effectively stopped.
The forum also addressed regional developments, supporting diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East and condemning recent attacks on Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical facilities, warning such actions could undermine peace initiatives.
In concluding remarks, Field Marshal Munir directed commanders to maintain peak operational readiness, expressing confidence in the armed forces’ ability to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
